The Institute encourages active representation of students in academic and administrative bodies and committees..

• IEM Students’ Gymkhana and  IQAC Members

As part of Gymkhana which is monitored by faculty members and run by students, there are several committees like sports committee, cultural committee, magazine committee which are headed and run by students.

• Class & Syllabus Committees

Student curriculum feedback are collected at the end of the term and considered while upgrading the syllabus Other stakeholders like Alumni member’s feedback are also considered..

• Anti-ragging Committees

This committee abides with the programs set by the institute and helps the students overcome all social barriers. During admission, it is mandatory for all students to fill out this form:

• Student Grievance Committees – If any disciplinary issue crops up then the disciplinary committee formed jointly by teachers and students takes a decision to resolve the matter.

• Internal Complaint Committee – Any student facing any kind of academic and non-academic issues report about the same to this committee.

• Outreach and extension activity  – The institute encourages students to be active outside their classroom for a 360 degree development of character.

• Professional Society – Different professional societies and clubs are run successfully by the students.
