In order to integrate cross-cutting issues such as gender, environment and sustainability, human values and professional ethics, institute has incorporated a variety of courses into curriculum:
1. Professional Ethics: Students are offered course on professional ethics to equip them with necessary soft skills for prospective future profession.
Gender Sensitivity: There are numerous hands-on gender sensitivity activities that allow students to interact with real-life circumstances such as field work, community outreach and awareness campaigns under Internal Complaints Committee(ICC).
Human Values: Working with NGOs, organizing health check-up camps, hygiene and health workshops, cleanliness drives, workshops on social concerns, feeding and taking care of street dogs, various club activities under Lion’s Club, Rotary Club, Inner Wheel Club etc. are some of the examples of social development activities taken up students and faculty members.
Environment studies (Course Code: MC401, MCEC401, BCAA201): All UG programs contain a course on environment studies. A variety of activities, such as seminars, workshops, guest lectures, company visits, tree plantation and field excursions, were scheduled for students of all programs to raise awareness about environmental and sustainability issues.
