The library is automated using Integrated Library Management System (ILMS)

 Data Requirement for the last five years: Upload a description of the library with,

  1. IEM has one central library along with two libraries & each department has its own departmental library.
  2. Each Library has a huge collection of Textbooks, Reference books, peer-reviewed journals, and bound volumes of journals. The reading room is well furnished to accommodate 100 students at a time and provides students with a comfortable environment for study.
  3. The library is open for all 24 hours * 7 days & free wifi facility is available there. Visitor records are maintained for students, as well as faculty members. New Arrivals of books and journals are displayed on the rack. The library has closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance Cameras.
  4. Students can access many e-journals Like IEEE Digital Library (ASPP), Delnet(online), Jgate, Web of Science,EBSCO(Business Source Elite)  in the library.
  5. Students & Faculty members can access many  Journals like SAGE publication & SPRINGER publication in the college library
  6. Two Software LSEase & KOHA are used in the college library. Purchase bills of this two software are attached below.
  7. Total of 83256 books are present in the college library.

LSEase: LSEase configures the entire library workflow easily with the latest software technology.it is a cost-effective, affordable integrated library management system software. LSEase originated from LIBSYS 10, Library Management System, and has all the basic library management modules. It has been grown on the concept of Web 3.0 that aims to facilitate information sharing, interoperability, collaboration among libraries giving a delightful experience to the users. It also provides full Unicode support & an option for RDBMS backers.

KOHA: Koha is a free software integrated library system (ILS). Koha is distributed under the GNU GPL version 3 or later. It is a fully-featured, scalable library management system. Development is sponsored by libraries of varying types and sizes, volunteers, and support companies worldwide.
