●        The prime objective is accomplished by formation of a student community that nurtures the Research and Product Advancement culture.

●        Moreover, Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp, Experts Talk, Webinars, Tech-Fest (Innovacion) and Poster competition have also been organized by those labs and embolden the student community to vigorously take part in numerous events well thought-out by government or non-government organizations.

●        Outreach events have also been planned in alliance with the industrial colossi like TCS Innovation Lab, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and PwC.

●        The students are guided by Professors, Alumni association and other industrial bodies like NASSCOM, CII, BCCI and other experienced members associated with technology giants like Apple, VM-ware, Qualcomm, and premier engineering institutes like IITs, NITs, Fermilab.

●        In addition, IEM Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) supports more than 200 startups every year, confirming that the students obtain the accurate supervision and appropriate mentorship.

●        On the other hand, the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India is implementing National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) in India to enable them to promote and support innovations and entrepreneurs. IEM has joined the NISP campaign and Senior Faculty coordinator with understanding and experience in innovation/ intellectual property rights/ entrepreneurship/ Startups has been nominated for coordinating institute’s innovation and startup policy’s formulation and its implementation at the institute. Training has already been provided in two phases to adopt the policy. Thereafter first stage of this policy is executed i.e. Formulation of an Innovation of the Startup Policy at HEI level.
