  • Institutional strategy at IEM prioritizes adapting to technological trends through well-defined plans.
  • Key focuses involve enhancing R&D, introducing tech-oriented courses, refining the IEMLEARNING platform, empowering the IEM-IEDC for startups, and offering specialized advanced studies.
  • Augmentations include involving faculty in committees, disseminating information through the web and notices, and promoting a culture of publication among students and faculty.
  • The college employs participative management through various committees:
    • COE oversees exam conduct.
    • The Finance Committee ensures smooth financial disbursement.
    • The Research Committee monitors student project quality.
    • The Redressal Committee and IQAC manage dispute resolution and quality assurance.
  • HR introduces an accident policy and health insurance in the benefits package, while the grant-in-aid scheme covers travel expenses for research activities.

Implementation

  1. R & D Cell:

Proficient research papers enhance students’ chances of securing scholarships for top global universities. IEM now hosts over 45 International Conferences, motivating faculty and students to publish their research and projects, with registration fees reimbursed for all accepted papers.

6.2.2 The functioning of the various institutional bodies is effective and efficient as visible

from the policies, administrative set-up, appointment and service rules, procedures,

etc.

Delegations of responsibilities are identified and delegated at different levels – Administrative functions, Principal, Dean, HOD, Asst. HOD, Faculty Members.

  • Academic Council- the highest decision making body regarding all academic matters. 
  • Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC)- to assure the quality of teaching and learning and Governance is maintained to the best possible achievable standard through different committee activities, regular meetings.
  • Participatory Management-subcommittee for different functional activities comprises representatives of teachers, non-teaching staff, and students. It includes the involvement of staff in organizing different college programs. 
  • Faculty Development Programmes are organized by college on a regular basis.
  • A performance appraisal system is practiced.
  • Promotion policy – college has a standard promotion policy which is followed.
  • Service rules–College extends the following benefits to the staff members mentioned below.

Provident fund–each member of staff shall subscribe to duly constituted College Provident Fund considering statutory rule.

Gratuity–College pays Gratuity to the staff members.
